This little shop is tucked at the bottom of the Barcelona Building, otherwise known as Quiggins, on Renshaw Street. It is full to the brim with all sorts of stuff, everything old and dusty - magazines, old bottles, family photo albums, cigarette cards, letters and many other hidden treasures.

This building houses cinemas and galleries that show new media and digital artworks, the shows are free and I’ve had some really good experiences here. The last exhibition I saw that blew my socks off was by ‘ZEE’. A truly mind altering experience that left me feeling strange for hours.

Helga Traxler, born 1984 in Austria, also known as Photosalonhelga – is a Freelance-Photographer with a Masters Degree in Visual Communications. Helga has worked with clients such as: New York Times T-Magazine, New York Magazine - The Cut, Ryan McGinley Studios, Rauschenberg Foundation, Walter Schupfer Management, Mac Cosmetics, Sweden Unlimited, Bullett Media, Conrad Rosett, Mango, Ebay, Allianz, amm. Through the experimentation with the medium she is blurring the boundaries between fashion and art. Joanne Hummel Newell (b 1982) studied at Kingston University London from 2001 - 2004 and at The Royal College of Art, London, from 2004 -2006. Joanne is Co Director of artist run organisation Foal Arts is currently represented by Folly and Muse Gallery, London/Munich and Newblood Art London. Recent selected exhibitions and short lists include WW Gallery collateral exhibition at the 53rd Venice Biennale, Jerwood Drawing Prize, RA Summer Exhibition, Royal Watercolour Society Contemporary Competition, Shoosmiths Art Prize, The Other Art Fair London and Art MUC Munich with Folly and muse Gallery.
