The café provide warm, friendly and cozy atmosphere, its very much like being at home. They serve food, waffles, cakes, smoothies and refreshing drinks and also ice-cream. I wanted to be an artist since I was little. I told my mother that I wanted to be a painter, but she stopped me and my imagination was stuck after that. At university, I studied English Literature, my favorite author is Haruki Murakami. I have a strong passion for film photography and travel. Analog photography is like me, natural, authentic and sincere. I dream that I’ll travel the world and take photos, publish a photo book and run an exhibition. A charming old-world café, On Lok Yun has been opened to coffee lovers for over 80 years. My favorite menu is steamed bread with custard. It’s not too sweet and the bread is very soft like cotton. They also have Thai-style American breakfast, soft drinks, and toasts with various toppings. My mom is a big fan of this café. Once you try this place, you will forget about those brand coffee shops for sure.

Old school but passionate, the Rex hotel is located on Sukhumvit road, a common tourist destination. I can feel my sweet childhood memories here. Its decoration is rich with old-fashioned style; furniture, wallpaper, key, swimming pool, garden, and so on. The hotel reminds me of those movies from 20 years ago when our parents had puppy love. If you are bored with modern hotels, I would recommend Rex Hotel for your next stay in Bangkok.

I love walking around Bangkok Old Town on a sunny day. I grew up in small buildings, only two to three floors, but now all I can see are big buildings such as hotels and condominiums. I see construction sites everyday. When I want to relax my eyes and lungs, I usually go to an old town. I never feel tired or bored. I can walk from dusk till dawn and stop at an old pharmacy and drink cold and sweet chrysanthemum tea.
