Dominik Thieme (GER) is an independent type and graphic design studio based in Barcelona (Spain) and Berlin (Germany). The studio covers works from printed matter to interactive design in the fields of art, culture and commerce, including projects in type design, brand identities, art direction, editorial design and web design.

I live in Barcelona and I spend most of my time creating creatures, designing logos and flyers for night clubs, printing t-shirts and painting big black spots pictures. I have made graffiti, painting, designing, illustration and I guess that is why my work is more and more a combination of all these matters.

I consider myself a lover of both images and words, almost equally. I believe in magic, I’m obsessed with details and thrilled by light. Every morning, after washing my face, I gently close my eyes and am overcome by an unrelenting need to be under the sea.
