Raby-Florence Fofana is a Berlin based Artist & Designer. Her work intersects with art, illustration and design. She loves abstract composes in painting, collages and patterns and is also working sculptural with ceramic and porcelain.

I moved to Berlin about six years ago and got a job at the props department of a theatre. During that time, I decided to take a degree in Communication Design. After three years of studying, I graduated writing a bachelor thesis about my photography project "Luminant Point Arrays". Since then, the series was exhibitied in several places around the world. Right now, I am woking on a new photographic project besides working as a freelance graphic designer.

Joa is the founder and owner of Studio Joa Herrenknecht - a design studio and consultancy based in Berlin. The studio works on accessory, lamp and furniture design objects. Clients include DWR, Bolia DK, Warm Nordic, MUNK Collective and others. Besides working on product design projects the studio also works on packaging and spacial design projects. The award winning Studio was founded by Joa Herrenknecht 2012 and has been named one of 50 best studios in Germany by AD Magazine and L'Officiel Paris. It is also published in the book 'Best of German Interior Design' by Distanz Verlag, 2017. Slowly establishing itself in the creative German design scene.

I'm a Berlin-based freelance arts writer and editor. My writing has been published by i-D, Elle.com, artnet News, Artsy and Frieze, among others, and I've edited books for various institutions, including SAVVY Contemporary, Berlin and Iwalewahaus at the Universität Bayreuth. I was previously the art and music editor at Interview Magazine in New York.
