Mexican restaurant next to the stadium, the décor is made for laziness. They have a log fire which is worth remembering on a misty Sunday, we go here to eat fine Mexican food, take a table on the balcony, wrap ourselves in blankets on a cold day and slowly slide under the table, strangely never been here when it’s hot outside.

Looking for an early morning coffee on the way to work or a place to go for a couple beers on a Saturday night? The Power & The Glory is definitely the place, with a great crowd consisting of Cape Town's finest and a constant stream of good music, it's hard not to feel at home in this cozy joint.

Every full moon we walk to the top of Lions Head. It’s a part walk, part climb and we invariably return once the sun’s set and the full moon risen, so the journey down can be quite interesting. The view from the top is spectacular. I often sit here high above the city and watch the late night flights to Europe carving their way through the thick, liquid purple sky, happily accepting that they’ve left me here.
