I'm a french freelance photographer and illustrator, based in Nancy (north-eastern France). After studies of Applied Arts and a few experiences as a colorist and drawer, I devote myself to analog photography.
I explore different themes through this media, like the relation between humans and nature, nostalgia, expression of the self, but also the parallel between desolated places and solitude of beings.
Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to become an illustrator. The first time my parents asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I said; 'tekenares' (this is the Dutch word for a draughtswoman).
I wasn't familiar with the term illustrator yet, but I was sure that's what I wanted to be.
Now, twenty years later, I'm working as a freelance illustrator based in Amsterdam. I've been living here for over 5 years, and I'm still in love with the city.
