Liliana Castro, born and raised in Porto, Portugal, launched FES Agency - a PR agency for startups and tech projects - and SoftLanding Porto - a one-stop shop for startups setting up office in Porto/Portugal. Liliana is a dedicated do-er of things, with a special ability to get it all done even when working on multiple projects. Highly connected to Portugal’s startup scene, she also launched Portuguese Women in Tech, a community that showcases the awesome things Portuguese women are doing in the tech industry.

I am pursuing hospitality concepts that are deeply involved in the local scenes and that serve as focal points for entire neighborhoods; concepts that become not just places to stay, but gateways to communities. I am committed to reshape the way people think about hospitality by exploring experiences that stand for a cause and immerse people in meaningful moments. I am an artist and graphic designer. After working for over ten years for institutions in the culture and art sector such as the Barbican Centre and the Institute of Contemporary Arts and then the leading arts publisher Phaidon, I set up my design and art studio in 2015. I split my time between design commissions and producing my own artists books.
