Johannes Romppanen is a self thaught portrait and documentary photographer. Besides working on his own projects he shoots for international magazines like Monocle, Case da Abitare, Sunday Telegraph, NEON.
Pekka Kuivamäki is a ceramist and designer who is currently finishing his MA degree in Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture (ARTS in short) in Helsinki. He is inspired by functionalist architecture and design and artists such as Kazimir Malevich and Donald Judd.
Lately he has been working with subjects such as playfulness and multifunctionality and how they can together create meaningful design.
Oscar Gómez is a graphic designer currently working between Helsinki (FI) and Barcelona (ES). Focusing his practice in the fields of website, publication and printed matters, he aims to work independently as well as collaboratively with a wide range of clients, creatives and contexts, both internationally and locally.
He is also part of Querida – a creative studio developing content strategies and creative direction for institutions, brands and individuals for both print and online projects.
He is the founder of The Coal Club – a collaborative platform curated together with Marcel Kaczmarek celebrating color while extending the design discipline and visual culture to the varied aspects and areas that may concern it.
Ida is a journalist specialized in design. She has written for several culture and design publications, both in Finland as well as internationally, done research for design and architecture television programmes and taught at Aalto University. She is the editor-in-chief of Helsinki Design Weekly. She enjoys spending time on a sailboat and on skis and is a lover of thoughtful details.
