The Art department of Akateeminen kirjakauppa (Academic Bookshop) is an infinite source of inspiration. Since the store is located right in the centre of Helsinki it is easy to just drop in. The Store is designed by famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto so even if you’re not into books it’s worth visiting.

He is inspired by functionalist architecture and design and artists such as Kazimir Malevich and Donald Judd.
