I have tried so many Pasteis Nata but this is still my favourite place. 

Flea Market. Tuesdays and Saturdays.

We found this beautiful store by accident while wandering around hilly Lisbon in the sunshine. A beautiful menagerie of vintage finds, curated designers, accessories and trinkets. Housed in a high-ceilinged, big windowed architectural treat. My perfect home (shop wise). I left with a Parisian summer dress in peacock tones, and a big smile. The staff were helpful and lovely, and coincidentally I had something in common with the gorgeous owner. We shared stories of graphic design and Leeds Art College—it really is a small world.

A small letterpress shop/studio in the Bairro Alto district. Great place to pick up a souvenir for your type-geek, designer friends.

Saturdays are the perfect days to visit Chiado and look for a rare or second-hand book calmly exhibited on the booksellers’ stalls all day long. From 10 am to 5 pm, a bit of Portuguese history can be found here, from comic books to recent releases, illustrated postcards and special editions.
