It's really close to my house and one of my favourite pubs in London! (I even went before it was close to where I lived!) It is London's first cooperatively owned pubs and has lovely events and workshops, exercise classes and great parties, and good beer! It's lovely in the beer garden in the hot summer and equally great in the winter, next to a real fire.

Fortitude Bakehouse, a craft bakery, hidden away on a quiet mews in Bloomsbury. 

This is a nice place to hangout...they have healthy food, juices and desserts! The pistachio ice cream is dairy free and really good! 

The oldest surviving fire station in Peckham, converted and restored by 6a architects, is now an annexe to the South London Gallery.

Turkish food meets Heavy Metal. Lee Tiernan's (ex St John Bread & Wine Head Chef) experimental take on Turkish cuisine. Flatbreads, offal, squid ink, cod roe & foie gras doughnuts. Expect the unexpected.
