A great place with a wonderful view over the roofs of Mannheim. There is also a terrace, which is a perfect place to stop for dinner or some drinks after visiting the "Planken".

Mannheim has a lot to offer and you will notice that culinary diversity is very important here. The restaurant is centrally located in the squares. The interior is modern in design, with a great deal of attention to detail and a relaxed atmosphere. I love  the extraordinary culinary concept: all dishes are vegetarian or vegan. The concept of the shop is based on the Californian burritos. This means that you can have a quick lunch in the Burrito Baby without losing too much time. Nevertheless, the Burrito baby is not a fast-food restaurant.

This is my favorite place in Mannheim to have some drinks or enjoy the sun while seating at the banks of the Rhine with a good coffee. But there is not only this dreamy bar, Speicher7 is also the most beautiful Hotel in Mannheim! If you will ever visit Mannheim you have to stay at that wonderful place.

Simon Wald-Lasowski (Paris, 1980) is a freelance photographer and art director. He makes colorful, fun, twisted work by use of bricolage, word play and 'cliché bending'. Lighthearted at first sight, his images often reveal a certain depth on second inspection. His approach is always very personal, which blur the boundaries between autonomous and commissioned work. He lives in Amsterdam and graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in 2004 as a graphic designer. Occasionally he also works as a Wedding MC.
