Maaike Canne is an illustrator working across a variety of different media, including murals and print. She’s often inspired by surroundings with a sense of silence and estrangement that hold a lot of personal stories at the same time, like motels, malls and gas stations.
Her vibrant work is often suggestive and influenced by elements found in architecture, interior and design. Besides this, she’s always been interested in the way people live and behave based on geography, prosperity, beliefs and values.
