The Montreal metro opened in 1966, right before the city hosted the world expo in 1967. The metro system is one of the most visible legacies of this time, filled with Modernist architecture and design. The trains are on big rubber tires and it's warm in the winter.

Recently discovered Tri's restaurant in this lovely lively place near Laurier metro station. Tri Express is the place for delicious - and affordable - refined sushi and chef's specialities. The decor is great too !
