Falco is a really nice Japanese coffee shop focusing on siphon coffee. It's located in what use to be an industrial part of the Mile End but is now mostly creative businesses. It's one of my favourites place to work or have meetups since it's huge and pretty close to my studio.

Yokato Yokabai font probablement les meilleurs ramens que j'ai goûté à Montréal depuis que j'en ai mangé au Japon. Attention de ne pas confondre ce resto avec leur autre restaurant, Ichigo Ichie, accessible à la même adresse. Ichigo Ichie est un Izakaya mais ils ne servent pas les ramens. Aussi, si vous souhaitez manger les ramens, vous ne pouvez pas réserver. C'est premier arrivé, premier servi. Right in from Mont-Royal subway we have this amazing bookstore named L'exchange with great books and great environnement.

Nice place to listen to live music and drink a god beer

Caffè Italia is an institution in town and was the first Italian café to open in Montréal in 1956. The decor probably hasn't changed much since then. Definitely one of my top favourite places in Montreal. Their panini is worth the detour - I have rarely had such a great one, probably the best in town, if not of the whole province !
