Right in from Mont-Royal subway we have this amazing bookstore named L'exchange with great books and great environnement.

The Montreal metro opened in 1966, right before the city hosted the world expo in 1967. The metro system is one of the most visible legacies of this time, filled with Modernist architecture and design. The trains are on big rubber tires and it's warm in the winter.

This is the one of the largest monuments to Montreal's Catholic history. This photo is of my favourite spot in the oratory; a little green chapel filled with crutches from people who came to the oratory on pilgrimage.
