Rita Bullwinkel is the author of the story collection Belly Up. Her writing has been published in Tin House, Conjunctions, BOMB, Vice, NOON, and Guernica. She is a recipient of grants and fellowships from The MacDowell Colony, Brown University, Vanderbilt University, Hawthornden Castle, and The Helene Wurlitzer Foundation. Both her fiction and her translation have been nominated for Pushcart Prizes. She is an Editor at Large for McSweeney's. She lives in San Francisco.
Michael Gillette is a British born San Francisco based artist, who has spent the last 20 years translating the visceral thrill of music in to arresting images. He has been sought out by many including Beck, The Beastie Boys, MGMT and Paul McCartney. He is currently working on a Monograph "Drawn in Stereo " to be published in 2012.
Kyle Kim is a San Francisco based fine art landscape photographer from South Korea who conveys uncommon beauty through his images. He prefers to observe and understand how the landscape interacts with both emotion and light.
As a photographer, he works tirelessly to push beyond the limitations of exposure time and aperture width, in order to shine light into dark places. The emotions that he is trying to evoke meaningful. Photography is the tool he uses to communicate these feelings.
Philip Cronerud is an art director, and publisher from Stockholm, Sweden, who works within technology, art and typography. Philip used to work for agencies like Wieden+Kennedy, Printed Pages / It's Nice That and later his own type-foundry MEDIUMEXTRABOLD®. The lure of a job offer in the Bay Area convinced him to move and embrace a Californian lifestyle.
