This square can be found north from the town centre, hidden from the main tourist routes. The trait of the surrounding houses and streets still represents the influence of the Serb, Greek, and Dalmatian inhabitant from the middle ages. On the top of the hill stands the Currier's Cross with beautiful view to the Danube. Cosmos, the fox terrier also a well known soul of Szentendre.

This sawmill building from the 19th century has transformed to an exhibition centre that gives space for the town's remarkable fine art collection. During summer evening the garden is filled with people laying in the grass enjoying the music of this mediterranean old town.

The Vajda Lajos Studio is a unique art gallery in the down town. The busiest cult space of the local artist community with roots to the Hungarian underground movement.

Barlang (the cave) it's a small underground venue just off the Danube bank open on the weekends for concerts, contemporary art exhibitions, and art performances.
