Izabela is a German-Polish writer and editor who grew up in Berlin. She graduated with a BA in Communication, Curation and Criticism from Central Saint Martins and completed a masters degree in Critical Writing for Art and Design at the Royal College of Art. Through writing about art, architecture, politics, the media and design, she observes the constructs of everyday life. Izabela cares to be both a boundless enthusiast and a sensitive critic when engaging with contemporary narratives or speaking to current-time visionaries.

Ryan Koopmans (BA, MFA) is a Dutch Canadian photographer interested in the built environment and the societies that are shaped by those environments. Born in Amsterdam (1986) he was raised on Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada, completed his undergraduate education at UBC in Vancouver, and in 2012 received a Masters of Fine Art in Photography, Video & Related Media at The School of Visual Arts in New York City. His undergraduate degree in the interdisciplinary practices of geography, art history, and psychology formed the basis for his interest in architecture and the communities living in that architecture. Koopmans is primarily drawn to photographing surreal structures in our world’s megacities and urban landscapes. Formal qualities in their geometry, repetition, and saturation help him illustrate what he terms ‘the poetry of form in interesting locations.’ In essence, his work documents the points of intersection where the natural and manmade converge. He credits his upbringing on Canada’s rugged West Coast, where distances and vistas are vast, as to why he often photographs from a removed perspective, embracing a large sense of scale. Currently based in Stockholm, Sweden, the majority of the year Koopmans travels around the world for both personal and assigned photography & video projects. Jerry Stifelman directs his flmmaking collective, CreatoDestructo Imagery and is a freelance writer and creative director for commercial brands that stand for something. He is an authenticity junkie, describing himself as “drawn to pretty much anything that comes a deep and true place, whether it's funny, ugly, beautiful or ferce.” His commercial work frequently takes him to large cities in other countries, but he loves his little home city of Carrboro, which he describes as “the funkier, gritter, hippier ( and hipper), less posh neighboring town to Chapel Hill, home of the University of North Carolina. It's an easy place to live, easy to bike everywhere, near the airport, and has loads of culture and the sense of optimism that comes from lots of students at the phase in life where all roads are open and anything is possible. It's also a place of great style — lots of people expressing themselves without listening to anyone else. It's also an easy ride to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the beaches.”
