Ewa Doroszenko - intermedia artist, Doctor of Fine Arts, lives and works in Warsaw. Graduate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland in 2019 and the City of Toruń in the field of culture in 2013 and 2011. A laureate of many international competitions, including Preview – Fait Gallery, Brno, 2016; Debuts 2018 – doc! photo magazine; Debut 2018 – Lithuanian Photographers Association; finalist of Noorderlicht International Photo Festival, 2021; Kranj Foto Fest, 2021; International Festival of Photography FIF BH – Brazil 2020; Athens Digital Arts Festival, 2020; GENERATE! Festival for Electronic Arts, 2019; Der Greif and the World Photography Organization open call, 2018; FILE Electronic Language International Festival, Sao Paulo, 2015; Gray House Foundation Competition, Krakow, 2011. Participant in numerous artist residency programmes, including Re_Act contemporary art laboratory in Portugal, Atelierhaus Salzamt Linz in Austria, The Island Resignified Lefkada in Greece, Petrohradska Kolektiv Prague in the Czech Republic, Klaipeda Culture Communication Center in Lithuania, AAVC Hangar Barcelona in Spain, Kunstnarhuset Messen Ålvik in Norway. Her works have been presented at the Starak Family Foundation in Warsaw, the Wozownia Art Gallery in Toruń, the Center for Contemporary Art in Toruń, Fait Gallery in Brno, Propaganda Gallery in Warsaw, Exgirlfriend Gallery in Berlin, Wroclaw Contemporary Museum.

Propaganda is a contemporary art gallery in Warsaw run by Jacek Sosnowski. The gallery cooperates both with artists who debuted in the second half of the 20th century and with young artists representing the Polish art scene. At its exhibitions, the gallery presents, among others, paintings, sculptures and drawings. Propaganda is also a publishing house that produces editions, art books and art publications. Fait Gallery is a young gallery institution and its start was initiated by the Brno native businessman Igor Fait, who also sponsors the programme. Besides systematically building a wide-ranging and high-quality exhibition programme, the Fait Gallery‘s aim is to initiate the development of contemporary art and it extends its spectrum of interest beyond the Czech and Central European context. Apart from the above the gallery also supports private art collecting and consolidation of the collectors in the city with a large art collecting tradition. Through cooperation with foreign galleries, the Fait Gallery supports Czech artists with possibilities to expand abroad and on the other hand with the realisation of the exhibitions of foreign authors, it brings their work not only to the Brno based audience. The Polish Institute Düsseldorf is one of many Polish Institutes worldwide which were established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. It aims to promote the cultural relationships between Poland and Germany using the presentation of Polish art, cinema, theatre, music, and literature and to intensify the mutual exchange of history, politics, education and society.
