Good example of brutalist architecture, built in the 70’s is now mainly accommodated by students living in the area. Loved by some, hated by others. Both interior and outside is a huge source of inspiration for me.

Very typical Wroclaw street made of cobblestones. This pre-war surface has its own memory and never deteriorates – just grows more noble.

"Karawan" means "a hearse" in Polish. And sw. Antoniego street used to be full of funeral parlours. Got it? Now the area is full of great cafes and bars and this one is unique. Good wine and good atmosphere. Makes you feel like in Berlin. Boo!

Odra river (second largest river in Poland) is partially frozen in winter time. Walking over it lets you experience the city from side never seen during other times of the year.

One of the most magical places in Wroclaw, just two steps from my studio. Small park in the very centre of the city, quiet and full of greenery. Beautiful in every season and every weather. The old-fashioned merry-go-round reminds me of Paris. Can't imagine my Wroclaw without that spot.

Community gardens, divided into small private spaces, each owned by someone else. Located in downtown areas of the city are good opportunity for block of flats citizens of the area to grow their own veggies. In the winter – usually deserted or taken over homeless people for shelter.
