For Didierea Trolli, Cyphostemma bainessii and other astonishing creatures from the family of the succulents, take a stroll through the six glasshouses, situated a bit outside the city center along the lakefront.
This picture stands for every water in Zurich. As soon as it's warm enough, you' re able to jump in wherever you want to. And when the sky is clear, you may see the white mountains while you're swimming in the lake.
The old botanical garden is my favorite green island in the city center. Thanks to a collection of moveable wooden chairs, it is an ideal spot for reading or having a chat with friends. The park is surrounded by office buildings and the Schanzengraben: a moat that serves as a hidden promenade from the city’s very center all the way to the lake.
The Langstrasse is probably one of the most famous streets in Zurich. It's dirty, rough and full of life. A lot of nice bars, clubs and galleries are located around this street. Some may call it the heart of Zurich. If you're there, have a look at the bar Longstreet, the Perla Moda, the Zukunft and the Dante.
