A French creative director in the global village of Amsterdam

Vera van de Seyp is a graphic designer and creative coder, currently living in Amsterdam. She likes to explore new technologies and is interested in typography, languages and artificial intelligence.

My work can be described as a body of research in which different moments in time and space run together in a field that seems to embody a determination of time to present proof of it’s discrete, unique moments. I create stories that rise around the system of time and space. I’m fascinated by the systems that exist behind the direct surface of the visual world.

Amsterdam based illustrator Sue Doeksen (1982) creates worlds that are overpopulated with bright colors, friendly shapes, layered or light concepts and hidden jokes. Mediums ranging from physical, digital, pencil-drawn, paper-cut, and animated. Juggling commercial and personal project balls she is often overwhelmed because there are so many visual adventures to be made at the same time and therefore wishes there were just many more hours in a day.

Iam currently working in Amsterdam. Inspired by the pop-culture, folk art, pound shops and tumblr, fascinated by inventions, colour, movement and compositions. She designs & conceptualises for both cultural and commercial fields. Whether in the digital realm or on a three-dimensional scale, she combines different disciplines and mediums to build engaging experiences.
