To avoid any confusion: MAFF is not the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, even though we’re huge fans of dogs and food. MAFF is a committed Antwerp-based design studio founded by Claudio Pascariello and Elke Treunen. We are great and easy to work with. No fussing, we do what we say and say what we do. Pieter Boels is a graphic artist looking for meaning in the shapes of language and the language of shapes. His work is an amalgam of graphic design, illustrative hand lettering and calligraphy, with a strong aesthetic sensibility. Working with both analog and digital tools, he's always striving to create something that resonates with people, and to make them do a double take. Since 2012 Pieter runs a one-man studio in Antwerp, Belgium. The projects he engages in range from large and commercial to tiny and artistic (or the other way round) for local and international collaborators, and himself. Together with his partner, Pieter curates a small space for art & design called Rosewood.

Louise Mertens runs an art studio based in Antwerp, Belgium. Her work as an art director became a trademark of herself. The studio became a place where her personal artwork and carefully selected client work come together. Her visual world combines the admiration for human forms & futurism with purity, sophistication and the incomprehensible. Her eye for aesthetics leads to international client projects ranging from concepts, campaign visuals & creative direction. 

Born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium. I run an independent graphic design practice and teach at Sint Lucas Antwerpen.
