Our favourite shop in Antwerp. Atelier Solarshop is a curated shop space, founded by menswear designer Jan-Jan Van Essche and Piëtro Celestina, based in Antwerp, offering a carefully selected, and constantly updated collection of well crafted contemporary works, harmoniously blended with timeless antiques and vintage.

You can find second hand designer clothes here. With an especially  great selection of Belgian brands like Raf Simons and Dries van Noten, Stephan Schneider, Christian Wijnants... 

To recover from my Heideggerian confrontation with "das Sein-zum-Tode", I visit this small town. Right across the market square, there's a bakery that sells the best comfort food in the world. My tummy already hurts from looking at all those real Belgian chocolate treats. Legendary!

For fast, good ramen! Their black sesame ice cream is super good.
