A. Petersen is a hidden gem near 'Kløvermarken' in Copenhagen. This place is outstanding, beautiful and very inspiring if you are looking for danish furniture design as well as contemporary art. Definitely worth a visit. Cinemateket is a really amazing cinema. It doesn’t show any new releases, but always has an interesting program that takes starting point in either a period in the history of film, a director, an actor/actress or another theme.

My favorite gallery in Copenhagen, located in the meatpacking area... its great for spotting up and coming talents but also established artists from around the world.

Copenhagen Meetpacking district is a good place to go out for a beer. Duing the summer the hole place is packed with young people. There is several bars, galleries and restaurants in the area.

As the name implies, the Paper Island was home to a large paper warehouse for the newspaper production. Today, the island has been transformed into modern buildings, designed by the Danish architectural firm Cobe and the spectacular water culture house and harbor bath are designed by the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma  Photo: © Ture Andersen
