They have huge cinnamon buns here, a nice thing to split with your friends. A really finnish treat. Owed by café esplanad (where you get the same sort of bakeries), but I prefer Success for it’s smaller space.

If you want to get an overall picture of the city centre and its surroundings taking a tour on this tramline is a good way to do so. 3B is the only tramline that operates late at night so if you’re visiting Helsinki there’s a great chance that you’ll end up using it.

The Art department of Akateeminen kirjakauppa (Academic Bookshop) is an infinite source of inspiration. Since the store is located right in the centre of Helsinki it is easy to just drop in. The Store is designed by famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto so even if you’re not into books it’s worth visiting.
