Maaike Canne is an illustrator working across a variety of different media, including murals and print. She’s often inspired by surroundings with a sense of silence and estrangement that hold a lot of personal stories at the same time, like motels, malls and gas stations. Her vibrant work is often suggestive and influenced by elements found in architecture, interior and design. Anja Wicki works as a comic artist and illustrator in Lucerne. Since 2010 she publish together with Andreas Kiener and Luca Bartulovic the Ampel Magazin.

I am an illustrator, living in Essex with my partner and our one year old son. I studied Drawing at Camberwell College of Art, graduating in 2006. After college I continued to live and work in London for several years. I still regularly visit to shop, see friends and exhibitions. London will forever be an important part of who I am.
