Maaike Canne is an illustrator working across a variety of different media, including murals and print. She’s often inspired by surroundings with a sense of silence and estrangement that hold a lot of personal stories at the same time, like motels, malls and gas stations. Her vibrant work is often suggestive and influenced by elements found in architecture, interior and design. Maria Prieto Barea is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Vienna, Austria. Alongside her artistic and commercial work, Maria also co-owns three of Vienna’s best bars and recently started an illustrated cake blog (www.newcakesontheblock.com). When she needs a break from work and nightlife, she travels the world with a surf board.
