Dutch born photographer Gijs van der Most is based in Los Angeles. Since he switched Amsterdam for Los Angeles about two years ago, he's been quickly becoming a favorite in the downtown Los Angeles photography scene. Gijs’ photography is direct, personal, and sometimes with a little wink. He's fascinated by people, their behavior and their environment. His documentary projects include “Used Car Salesmen”, “Yard Sales”, “Sign Jugglers”, and his most recent project " I ♥ Runyon Canyon". Even though Van der Most works are displayed in series, he doesn't waste a single image. Gijs has co-created the blog “van der THIS! “, with his comedian/writer wife Michelle Buteau fusing the photography and comedy world into a miniseries that is eye catching as well as entertaining. His passion for great imagery hasn’t been unnoticed by the popular style, culture, and design blog www.kaufmann-mercantile.com. Meredith Huelbig is a twenty-seven year old photographer from New York. The escapade of exploring new souls and destinations captivates Meredith. Her inspiration tends to intensify when she finds herself lost in a new location. She is fascinated with escaping her reality and entering a new part of the world as a guest for a short while. Exploring and grasping the way different cultures exist is an aura she can not explain, but loves experiencing.
