Lucas Levitan is an illustrator today, filmmaker last week, photographer last month and art director last year. A new cycle might start again soon. A few years ago, whilst lunch break walking on Redchurch Street in East London, a brick fell from the 4th floor scaffolding of a building site and missed his head by millimeters. It made him think he should be doing more or what he loves, drawing. It was a turning point. That same moment he went back to the office he used to work for and resigned. Now he's lost and happier.

Maaike Canne is an illustrator working across a variety of different media, including murals and print. She’s often inspired by surroundings with a sense of silence and estrangement that hold a lot of personal stories at the same time, like motels, malls and gas stations. Her vibrant work is often suggestive and influenced by elements found in architecture, interior and design. Takahiro Kimura is a Japanese animator, illustrator and character designer based in Tokyo. Takahiro studied technology of painting and graphic design at Salesian Polytechnic, as well as drawing, landscape painting and fashion drawing at Setsu Mode Seminar. In 2003 Takahiro created a group of web and television collage animation characters collectively called Kimsnake.

I'm living my dream of working as a freelance illustrator in the San Francisco area, where the redwood forests, dramatic cliffs, and occasional whale tails are a source of constant inspiration. My first book, 'Wendell the Narwhal' was published by Simply Read Books last year. Clients include Penguin Random House, Usborne, American Greetings, The Seattle Symphony, and others. As a certified California Naturalist, I hope to use illustration as a tool to educate and inspire others to fall in love with the natural world.
