John Christian is a versatile director and artist living between London and Oslo, making all kinds of things with moving images. Growing up in rural Asker, Norway, John gets his inspiration from long aimless walks and entertaining himself while doing so, often resulting in odd ideas. 

I'm living my dream of working as a freelance illustrator in the San Francisco area, where the redwood forests, dramatic cliffs, and occasional whale tails are a source of constant inspiration. My first book, 'Wendell the Narwhal' was published by Simply Read Books last year. Clients include Penguin Random House, Usborne, American Greetings, The Seattle Symphony, and others. As a certified California Naturalist, I hope to use illustration as a tool to educate and inspire others to fall in love with the natural world.

Influenced by Earth and space, she delicately transforms floral motives into her own surreal, psychedelic scenes, rebelling against the remorseless actions of society and the continual destruction of the environment. Since last year has been developing an abstract watercolor paintings.
