This place is one of my favourite secret spots in Lisbon. It is famous for its stunning formal gardens and 17th and 18th century decorative tiles with some of the country's finest, depicting hunting, battles, and religious scenes, statuary and fountains. So let's keep it as a secret between us.

Renovar a Mouraria is a non-profit public benefit organization created to revitalize the Mouraria neighborhood, where more than 50 nationalities coexist, where the fado was born, and where countless Portuguese traditions still manifest themselves in everyday life...

You can't go to Lisbon and not try pastel de nata and this was probably the best place we found to get your mitts on the delicious egg pastries. Grab a couple with a cup of coffee. Happy days.

incredible selection of local produce and natural wine

In the very touristic Graça area, there is this heaven place, hidden from tourists. This café belongs to the theater da Garagem. It has an amazing view, the atmosphere is peaceful and with a lot of light. They don't have wifi if you plan to work there though..
