Julie Verhoeven is an artist and designer based in London. After studying fashion she began her career assisting John Galliano before working in the fashion industry as a designer, illustrator, creative director and tutor. Verhoeven’s own fashion label, Gibo by Julie Verhoeven, was launched in September 2002, and she went on to collaborate with global brands including, Louis Vuitton, Versace, Mulberry and H&M. Verhoeven has exhibited internationally since 2003, including solo shows at MU, Eindhoven, ZINGERpresents, Amsterdam, and Vera Gliem, Cologne with the publication of 3 books dedicated to her work, 'A Bit of Rough’, 'Fat- Bottomed Girls’ and 'Julie Verhoeven, Gas Book 13’. Carla Andrade is a Spanish Visual Artist with a Degree in Audio-visual Studies and Philosophy. She is currently studying a M.A. in Artist’s Film & Moving Image at Goldsmiths University in London. She carried out Artist Residencies in Iceland, Sweden, Nepal, Chile, and Paris, among others. Her work was exhibited at the MAC in A Coruña, Colegio de España in Paris, Trinta Gallery in Santiago de Compostela, Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, MARCO of Vigo, 104 in Paris, etc; and at Film and Photography Festivals such as IFFR, Zinebi, Jihlava, Filmadrid, L’Alternativa, Curtocircuito, Porto/Post/Doc, PhotoEspaña or Mois de la Photo off.

Designer and illustrator

I am half Spanish, half English, and I lived in Iceland for five months. I don't like soggy bread and I really love roast dinners and tea. By day I try to be a creative copywriter, visual poet and voice over artist but most of the time it's just me juggling my life around. When I was little, I was told not to talk to strangers but now It has become my favorite hobby.
