Renate Ariadne is a Dutch fashion photographer with an autonomous approach. Highly inspired by Magical Realism, she strives to create images that read in a way similar to our dreams. The atmospheric, melancholic tones of her drawings and paintings evoke sensations of dislocation. These works document her interest in what is lost and what is found, the ambivalence between what is the fleeting memory and what is synthesized as a trace within the landscape.
