Right by my apartment, I can’t help but come here often. It’s situated right around the historic La Brea Tar Pits. One needs to spend an entire day here. Also love their magazine/book store.

Elias Tahan is a photographer from Los Angeles. After leaving art school, he immediately launched his career as a full time photographer, drawing inspiration from film and pop culture. His celebrity, fashion, and documentary photography is featured in publications such as New York Post’s Page Six, Flaunt, and Interview Magazine. Angel City is in DTLA’s Art District, which is a cool neighborhood with a great beer culture. The place is in a huge warehouse / garage, so it never feels too crowded. I like the Angeleno IPA. Live events and taco trucks out front!

LA wouldn't be LA without its Freeways. The Golden State Freeway is one of the most familiar places I have. It's my studio, living room, and kitchen all togheter. I can eat a sandwich, make phone calls and check my emails on the go, and even read the newspaper when it's jammed, basically all the time.
