He received his B.F.A. in animation from the California Institute Of Arts and studied journalism at University of Southern California. Eric Yahnker lives and work in Los Angeles, California.
Ciarra K. Walters (b.1992) is a visual artist, photographer, and documentarian from Prince George's County, Maryland. Based in Los Angeles, California, Walters' Black feminist voice and style revolve around people of color, nature, and color theory. She plays with patriarchy, masculinity, the power dynamics of heterosexual relationships and gender expectations of women and men through a mix media of photos, video, and writings. Walters explores her identity and the social structures in place that affect the everyday lives of women and men of color. Her work explores the delicate, yet dynamic perspective between sexes as she subtlety unravels the complexities between the two through her personal stories of trauma, healing, and growth in America.
