Xoana Herrera is an Argentinian director, designer and illustrator based in Los Angeles, CA, she finished her studies in the University of Buenos Aires. She loves to find ways to create simple solutions, she gives a huge importance to color, shapes and loves create characters. She defines her style by the delicate use of geometric shapes to create joyful characters and colorful backgrounds. Before landing in LA, she worked for a number of different studios in both Argentina and Europe. Her passion for illustration and her exquisite taste makes her one of the most promising artists in the motion graphics world She currently works as an Art Director with the amazing and talented people at Buck.

We are shaping tomorrow’s diverse cultures. Happening Studio is an international design studio, cultivating global minds with local sensibility. Specializing in identity design as a studio foundation, we output a wide range of work, from screen-based experiences to printed reading experiences.  Often working with small to medium sized cultural institutions and museums, Happening Studio function as a design mediator and facilitator between in-house design, marketing staffs and high level stakeholders.  Since 2019, the studio went fully remote and worked from 3 different continents to further establish their design practice and research. As a result, the studio carries a flexible working conditions, offers an in-depth understanding of client needs within global to local landscapes that are diverse and meaningful. 

Micaela McLucas is a filmmaker and artist based between Los Angeles, Paris and London. She studied at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and completed her MFA in Contemporary Photography at Central Saint Martins in London. Raised between Argentina and LA, always on an airplane, always out of context. Three passports, four languages, learned every life lesson by getting kicked in the teeth, which is why her work hits the way it does. Her influences range from trash TV to French philosophy and cinema has always been the core obsession. Her work moves between fashion, theory and lived experience in ways that feel both precise and unruly. The world she builds is psychedelic, intimate and unapologetically feminine. She mines her own life for material and uses it to collapse fantasy and confession. Everything is neon soaked, surreal and intrusive, not to escape reality but to pierce it. She's currently writing and developing her first feature film while continuing her studio practice.

Jennifer Juniper Stratford is a photographer and video artist struggling daily in her love/hate relationship with the movie making industry that is explored through photographic series and the production of cult movies. Rather than rely on the latest technological advancements, she bends technology in service of art by using a mixture of current, analog and practical photography to create new dimensions in media.
