Part restaurant, part market, part publication, Botanica is a lively space in LA’s Silver Lake neighborhood. We converted the former drop ceiling liquor store by peeling the space back to its original shell and opening up the back wall and patio creating a space that reflects their personality and cooking – bright, lively and communal.

Paris / Bookstore

Ofr is a bookstore, gallery and lifestyle. Alex and Marie have been running one version or another of this Paris institution for the last 20 years. The shelves are always packed with a new selection of books, magazines and art.

I am Aiqi Zhang. I love seeing what happens in the extremes, it is also the way I deal with graphic design. Currently, I’m prototyping in all dimensions. With each project, I look for ways to bring my work into a spatial and digital world, allowing people to experience it in new and exciting ways. My desire is to create a multidisciplinary practice with no boundaries.

A creative soul from the beginning, I was raised by two artists in the mountains of Maine, where I developed a connection to the outdoors and appreciation for natural beauty. I am a self taught photographer and my work has been described as "soft, minimal compositions that lend themselves perfectly to travel photography that evokes a feeling of blissful escapism". My work has been featured in CN Traveller, Elle Decor, Afar, Suitcase Magazine, Design Milk, Architectural Digest and more. I was also named one of the top travel Instagram accounts (@carleyscamera) to follow by Condé Nast Traveller.
