Maybe my favourite Oslo-street. Lots of nice vegetable stores, and if you start from Grønland and walk up the street, you end up at the botanical garden, which is lovely, and houses the Zoological museum.

One of the nicest places to have an outside beer in the summer. Sits right along Akerselva (river that goes through parts of Oslo east, nice for walks).

Excellent bar, nice music in warm red interior (with original Pushwagner on the wall). It´s small and usually full, but somehow I always get a table quickly.

Perfect place for a slow Sunday morning, good food and nice atmosphere. It´s sometimes full, but you can hang in the little store until a table is available.

Strangest second hand store in Oslo, run by two blind elderly ladies, and only open on Mondays and Thursdays. The store is tiny and crammed, you can do a scoop, but the prices are fairy unpredictable, the ladies have a very independent pricing-system.
