Is a fantastic little street in the middle of town. Its colourful little workers cottages (from the late 18th and early 19th century) really stand out from the rest of Oslo’s architecture. A cute, warm and cozy street that makes me happy.

I’m a British citizen currently studying product design at the Akershus Oslo University College. At the age of 4 my parents took me to Lanzarote, which was a pretty funky place to grow up! I moved to Oslo 11 years ago, where I worked as Harbourmaster at the Royal Norwegian Yachtclub until starting studying. I haven’t really found any nieche yet, but I enjoy trying to incorporate feelings into my work and trying to design an experience instead of just a product. I’m very inspired by my surroundings. I suppose I’m on some kind of creative journey at the moment, but I don’t really have a clue what I’m doing or where I’m going to end up. I use humour as a defense mechanism, worry too much and cry when I watch soppy movies.

Maybe my favourite Oslo-street. Lots of nice vegetable stores, and if you start from Grønland and walk up the street, you end up at the botanical garden, which is lovely, and houses the Zoological museum.

Sukkerbiten is a great place to eat and drink in the summer, right on the water with a view of the Opera house. It´s run by a selection of Oslo's clubs and bars, and the program changes through the summer.

Almost definitely the best kebabs in town. They have a newspaper article on the wall that claims that a guy that lives about 8 hours away travels into Oslo just to eat their kebabs☺. Smells a bit funny outside sometimes though…

When you’re in Oslo, you can’t miss the Opera. Here you are allowed to walk on the roof and look at the views and smell the ocean. At summer time you can even catch an outdoor concert on the top of the roof.
