I was born in Moscow, Russia, but was always fascinated with traveling and meeting new cultures. After several years in Vienna, Austria, I decided to move to Paris, France, and study professional photography. Before making this choice I started career in history of art. These days I work on different long-term projects, mostly concentrated on fine-art and documentary photography. Paris / Restaurant

Very nice place where you can take your time for a coffee or eat french cooking by a Japanese chef. The design is like you're at home and there are different artist displayed on the walls.

Paris / Bar

The very first place i've been in Paris. My first month in the city, i spend over 800€ in this bar (true story) It's simple, warm and friendly, drinks are not so expensive (for Paris...). You can talk with every body, people there are open minded and funny (but only because everybody is drunk)

Full and amazing LGBT+ and feminist bookstore (english and french books).

Two wellknown japanese cafeteria, close to the Louvre and the Palais Royal. Gyoza and Lamen served all day long. The one Rue St Anne is more traditionnal, chiefs are cooking in front of you. Often packed, in case there is a long waiting line, go to the one Rue St Honoré, you will eat the same!

A grubby, ugly and grey crossroads, yet strangely beautiful by the evening sun. It always makes me happy when I pass through because ten minutes walk in any direction leads to some of my favourite places: the best fromager, thrift stores, the best boulangerie for tartes, the canal, bars, my apartment, B.D. (comix) shops, the best butcher, the huge deco Rex cinema, the best veg markets, my band's underground rehearsal room, my part time job, art galleries, etc etc!
