London / Architecture

The Barbican has so much to offer! From beautiful architecture, to a conservatory, amazing art, films, music and performances. It is such an exciting and relaxing place to hang out. Even if you don't have a purpose for visiting the Barbican, it's good for just having a tea with a friend.

London / Art

This is one of my favourite places in the whole of London. Cernamic, run by Nam and Susi, they offer some fantastic workshops and at a very affordable price. They have really cultivated a welcoming environment, full of lovely people and a place to share and recieve knowledge.

London / Bookstore

Biblioteka is a library that collects and makes publicly available artists' books, photography books, zines, ephemera and publications on architecture and design. They operate as an experimental library space exploring what a library could be. After running 3 spaces in Kyiv, Ukraine their collection is now based in London, UK.

London / Shop

The best magazine store in London! MagCulture stocks around 600 independent magazines from all over the world. They always have the latest issue of everything and you will ALWAYS find something you've never heard of before. Make sure you visit on PAY-DAY, as there is a good chance you'll walk away with a delicious new publication.

Paris / Art

Not far from the center of Paris lies this fantastic art gallery. It is an astonishing building and has an amazing collection of works. The ticket you buy for the museum usually allows you free entry into the neighbouring theme park!

Paris / Bookstore

If you're looking for somewhere that has an an excellent selection of artist books then Yvon Lambert is the place to go. Not only that but they sell incredible tote bags, with great straps and nice minimal design that will last you a life time. Out the back is a small gallery space, often showcasing the work of featured artist who's book is for sale in the shop. One of my favourite things about this shop is how friendly and welcomign they are! Not only that but they do cool collaborations, such as the one with David Horvitz, where he emails them a new photograph of the sky every day, the bookshop prints it out and you can only buy that one image on the day.

Paris / Gallery

Architecturally stunning, a beautiful and harmonious space showcasing contemporary art. I've often seen some amazing work here and been introduced to new artists making great work. There is a beautiful outdoor space, with installations by Agnes Varda.

Sydney / Art

The MCA is situated just in front of the water, with views of the Sydney Opera house and right next to the Harbour bridge. With 3 floors of contemporary art, starting with more emerging artists on the first floor, going up to it's permannent collection on the second and then usually a mindblowing solo show from an established artist or group show. You can finish your visit with a lovely meal and drinks on the fourth floor, which offers some of the best views of Sydney. Yorgo Tloupas is a renowned french art director and logotype specialist who works with luxury, art, fashion, sports, media and automotive brands. Author of the latest commercial campaigns for Omega and Loro Piana among others, he designs visual identities for brands such as Ricard, Martell, Artcurial, Lacoste, and Hôtel de Crillon. As a magazine creative director, he headed GQ France, Intersection, BeauxArts, Liberation, and many others. He launched and currently art directs Vanity Fair France. He teaches logo design at Penninghen, IFM, SciencesPoParis and holds conferences and talks worldwide. Involved in Black Crows skis from the start, he helps the brand grow, both as a shareholder and as the design director.

I was born in Saint-Jean d'Angély in the western part of France 23 years ago. I am in my finale year at École Camondo (Paris 14th arrondissement). I'm studying design and interior architecture. I like to work on public space, playing with landscapes and observing my surroundings. I try to travel as much as possible to discover new cultures and find inspiration for new uses and forms.

Clo’e Floirat is an author and illustrator. She began her rigorous training in New York, fleetingly leaving France to then attend the Design Academies of Reims and Eindhoven, Netherlands. This led her to Berlin, working with architects specializing in art spaces for another five years. From working with Robert Wilson as well as Rufus Wainwright in New York for several years, her interests have recently culminated in her graduation from the new master in Critical Writing in Art at the Royal College of Art, London. She has become known for her signature drawings - a combination of drawing and writing with a critical orientation, into what she calls drawing Crit’writing - that cast a critical, humorous and refreshing look on the world of contemporary art. Clo’e is a regular contributor to various publications, e.g., art press, Frieze, Intramuros, l’Officiel Art and the World of Interiors. She is a special guest at Monumenta - Grand Palais in Paris since 2011, where she draws and writes along side major contemporary artists such as Anish Kapoor, Daniel Buren, Ilya and Emilia Kabakov. More recently Art Brussels has invited her for a live critical drawing installation on the walls of the art fair. In 2016 Kamel Mennour feat. Clo'e Floirat. A unique collaboration to take a closer look at his 2016 gallery program resulting in a solo exhibition at Kamel Mennour gallery - rue Saint André des Arts Paris 7ème. In March 2016, Clo’e released her first book Pas mal pour de l’art with Marabout editions - Marabulles. This new publication constitutes a unique portrait of gallery and museum-goers, drawn with humor and perceptiveness. Selected clients: Colette, Hermès, Illycaffè, La Ville de Paris, Pierre Hermé, SNCF, MAH!, Emeco, Ketel One, Droog Design. Selected publishers: art press, Marabout, Gallimard, Frieze, Designo, Intramuros, l’Officiel Art, the World of Interiors, Eyrolles.
