Designer & Art Director living in Amsterdam

My work can be described as a body of research in which different moments in time and space run together in a field that seems to embody a determination of time to present proof of it’s discrete, unique moments. I create stories that rise around the system of time and space. I’m fascinated by the systems that exist behind the direct surface of the visual world.

Amsterdam based illustrator Sue Doeksen (1982) creates worlds that are overpopulated with bright colors, friendly shapes, layered or light concepts and hidden jokes. Mediums ranging from physical, digital, pencil-drawn, paper-cut, and animated. Juggling commercial and personal project balls she is often overwhelmed because there are so many visual adventures to be made at the same time and therefore wishes there were just many more hours in a day.

Loes Claessens is an independent graphic designer based in Amsterdam. Working in the fields of art and culture the design practice is focussing on printed and digital publications, identities, art direction and exhibition design.
