The "1929. The Barcelona Pavilion" is one of the places where I always take my friends when they come to visit me to Barcelona. It was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe as the German National Pavilion for the 1929 Barcelona International Exhibition. The day I made the photo was raining heavily, even then I found it great.

This nearly 200-year-old bar— reputedly the oldest in Barcelona, is an absynthe bar. Was one of the locations from Vicky Christina Barcelona's film. The Marsella is one of those places that Hemingway supposedly loved to frequent (Hemingway being to bars in Spain what George Washington is to inns in New England).

The Green Spot isn't just a vegetarian restaurant for non-vegetarians. You will instantly fall in love with its healthy, tasty and colorful food, and for its awesome decoration.
