Rixdorf is definitely my favourite area of Berlin, because it is a historic village within in Berlin. At the moment it is under heavy construction, and I found this strange, nearly taken-down building sitting in the middle of the quaint neighbourhood.

It's a small bookshop to be stuck forever. Here you can find the most beautiful collection of art/photography/architecture/fashion/food books and magazines, not to count it's just a walk distance to diverse galleries around the neighborhood.

For under 6 euros you can get the best burgers of the city. This small place is always full and anytime is good to eat their hamburgers.

Situated in the patio of the Kunst-Werke, a well established exhibition house for contemporary art, this cafe features mirror-walls and a selection of nice cakes and lunch menu. 

While strolling around Mitte, check out the flagship store of Berlin´s cult women fashion brand. (And try a delicious cinnamon bun at Zeit für Brot next door.)
