Delicious drinks, nice courtyard, good music. 

A personal favourite as I created the branding Identity for this space, so I've spent many afternoons and evenings here whenever family visited me in Cape Town. Probably the best service in CT! The Shortmarket Club is an incredible fine dining restaurant tucked away at the top of a narrow staircase, in the centre of town. It has the feel of a closed members’ club. The space is equipt with classic New York style booths, romantic lighting, an open style kitchen and skilled waiters. The head Chef and owner, Wesley Randles prides himself on locally sources produce, he serves up dishes that tantalize and inspire. Every time. Their selection cocktails, AB Badenhorst wines and the Cape Malay octopus is a must!

It’s not difficult to stay here all day. Coffee and croissant from very early in the morning, lunch, sandwiches, brownies, and beer and bubbles in the evening. The finely tatooed ‘captain bread’ is the maestro here.
