Ture Andersen is a Danish photographer who works within the field of commercial and corporate photography for Danish and international companies. I work with corporate communications, branding, exhibitions and interactive media. I help companies to create an effective and consistent visual communication rooted in the companies’ visual identity and strategy. I am based in Copenhagen, Denmark, but work globally. Recent projects have included assignments in the Arctic, reportage from gemstone mining in Sri Lanka and Madagascar, ship recycling in india, coffee production in Laos, as well as gem production in Thailand. Copenhagen / Club

This nightclub has a great soundsystem and wonderful, diverse lineup... A lot of disco and italo... People come to dance, it has a safe space policy and its not druggy - and they have great wine and cocktails. (Yes, Im a resident there, hehe)

Copenhagen / Street

An area in Copenhagen that has gotten quite a lot of attention because of its experimental public space and planning is Superkilen, a park in the north west of the city centre. Designed in a collaboration between the arts group Supeflex, Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) and Topotek1, this park feature an eclectic mix of features, such as a fountain from Morocco, sculptures from Japan and large scale Russian signs. The area this park is located in, Nørrebro, is quite diverse, and the designers set out to reflect this by treating the park as ‘a world exhibition filled with interesting things’, and to represent the nationalities of every local resident. The park is divided into three areas: The Red Square, The Black Market and the Green Park. The Red Square is decorated with red-toned geometric patterns, contains cafés and feels modern and urban. The Black Markets’ ground are painted with white lines that creates almost aerodynamic patterns that curve around the benches and fountain. The Green park is a park for walking the dog, picnics and sports. Bring your camera as this area offers some great photo opportunities!

Copenhagen / Bridge

This bridge leads from the center to Christianshavn and Amager. Christianshavn is a really sweet and old area, with a canal with lots of boats, nice restaurants and cafes. Right next to Christianshavn is the Freetown Christiania.

Copenhagen / Museum

A pretty museum located 30 min north from Copenhagen. It has a stunning sea view and beautiful architecture. Here you can explore many exciting exhibitions. They have a great cafe as well.

Copenhagen / Museum

Whenever I feel uninspired I visit the (now genericly named) Design Museum, formerly known as Kunstindustrimuseet. Sort of the V&A of Copenhagen. An old museum filled with gorgeus fabrics, weird artifacts and a cozy library filled with books about arts & crafts from around the world. If you're still uninspired after a visit here you're not able to. Don't forget to have lunch in the beautiful center garden surrounding by the overgrown buildings, statues and old trees.
