Peter Nencini came to London in 1992, to study at the Royal College of Art. Aside from a three-year interlude working in Brussels, he stayed put. A designer and educator, he has worked across print and television for clients such as the New York Times and the BBC. More recently, he has gravitated towards editioned and exhibited work in ceramic, fabric, wood and metal — with a bonding interest in the space between typographic and figurative form. For the last six months, I have been a strange tourist in Munich. I came here to work in a studio and had not so much time to visit it properly. But I partly came in Germany because I was interested in its specific creative approach: it’s precision and rigorousity. In it’s system culture in a way. And indeed it’s a very intellectual society, ruled by color codes and order. It was definitely funny to see that these things are visible in many daily aspects of life. Or maybe it’s just me wanting to see them... Very soon, I will move to London - where I would like to do some freelance work, in product, furniture and space design.

Industrial designer who creates playful home decor. Founder of Dyslexic Design. Originally trained as a model-maker in the film and television industry. Jim then went on to teach at a special needs school in London before completing a Master’s degree (2006) in Industrial Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design (part of London’s University of the Arts). In 2016, Jim curated an exhibition called Dyslexic Design, which was designed by Ab Rogers and hosted by designjunction. The show challenged perceptions of dyslexia by accentuating its positive effects and its close association with design.

Founder and Managing Partner of Carrie Scott & Partners, Carrie Scott has been a curator, Art Historian and arts writer since 2004. She has developed Modern and Contemporary collections in Europe and the United States, working with numerous businesses, executives and collectors to help them establish, manage, and maintain both corporate and personal art collections. Since early 2010, Scott has also worked side-by-side with visionary fashion photographer Nick Knight to curate his archive as well as curate exhibitions at the SHOWstudio Shop, a gallery that exhibited high profile contemporary artists like Douglas Gordon, Raymond Pettibon, Keith Tyson, Terrence Ko, and Anj Smith, alongside the work of dynamic younger artists like Tim A. Shaw, Courtney Andrews, Charlotte Kingsnorth, and Walter & Zoniel.   The SHOWstudio gallery is now globally recognised as having been a pioneering, ground-breaking platform that nurtured and encouraged creativity by combining the different art forms together in one space.  Before starting Carrie Scott & Partners in 2009, Scott was Director of Nicole Klagsburn Gallery, New York, where she worked closely with artists such as Beth Campbell, Matthew Day Jackson, Rashid Johnson, Mika Rottenberg, Adam McEwen, and Storm Tharp. Prior to that, she was noted curator of the Hedreen Gallery at Seattle University's Lee Center, and Director of the James Harris Gallery also in Seattle, Washington. In 2017, Scott appeared as a presenter on The Art Show, an entirely new art series that richly captures the artists of our lifetime that have inspired collectors and art lovers alike.
