I'm from Cornwall. Anyone who knows me knows that I rant on about Cornwall. The longer I stay away from Cornwall (in London) the more I seem to rant about it. But I still like to go back as often as possible to do crazy stuff like cast metal furniture on the beach or carve chairs out of Cornish granite in the various quarries dotted around the countryside. Otherwise you will find me in my studio in deepest darkest Tottenham whittling a lump of material into a spoon or chair.

Renate Ariadne is a Dutch fashion photographer with an autonomous approach. Highly inspired by Magical Realism, she strives to create images that read in a way similar to our dreams. Illustrator and designer Melvin Galapon was born in the South of England in 1981, yet hails from Burnley a small town in the Northwest of England. A graduate from Central St. Martin’s he has worked with the likes of Wallpaper*, The New York Times, Nike and Nokia to name but a few. He has been featured in various magazines worldwide and has exhibited in Tokyo, London and Singapore. Galapon is currently based in London where he works on a prolific mix of Illustrations, Installations and Design work.

Alistair Hall is an award-winning graphic designer based in London. He set up his design studio, We Made This, in 2004, and specialises in thoughtful, simple, beautiful graphic design for print. He has made work with clients including Penguin Books, Historic Royal Palaces, Jeremy Tankard Typography, the National Trust and John Lewis.  Alistair is also a co-founder and art director of the children’s literacy charity Ministry of Stories, and its fantastical shop, Hoxton Street Monster Supplies. Alistair has been writing about design and visual culture at wemadethis.co.uk/blog for over ten years. He also teaches at Central Saint Martins and The Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design; and has given talks about his practice across the UK and overseas. He’s currently researching a book about London’s street nameplates.
