Excellent Turkish bakery. I highly recommend their £2 gözleme.

A place that really grows on you, with each visit the Barbican reveals more of itself to you and your bond is tightened. The Barbican Kitchen is great for coffee or lunch, summer hangouts by the ponds, cinema in winter, the amazing Barbican Hall for live music, and don't miss the conservatory.

The most amazing little shop selling natural, organic preserves by the wonderful Lillie O’Brien (ex St John Bread & Wine pastry chef). Super friendly staff and insane jam doughnuts!

This is one of my favourite parks in London. It's lovely to walk around it's like a forest in parts ... and there is a lovely Kyoto Japanese garden... and beautiful flowers everywhere! I definitely give it 5/5!

There's something so quintessentially London about this hill. The network of paths and lines of lampposts leading you up to a view of the city that's at your fingertips.
