I’m an artist and illustrator from Los Angeles. My clients include: Converse, Cinespia, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, LA Record, Little White Lies, Refinery29, Rihanna, Stance Socks, and The Los Angeles Times.
I had a studio in this neighborhood for 3 years. Just take your camera and spend a couple hours walking around admiring the colors and people and odd shops.
The Rose Bowl happens in Pasadena. The Flea Market is only once a month, its usually the second Sunday of the month. Its a great place to find vintage clothes, antiques and rare treasures. I once found an amazing David Hamilton book that I bought for $15 when it was worth $500.
Need some socks? Need some pants? Bacon wrapped hot dogs? Remote control helicopter? A rabbit? Look no further than the Fashion District, L.A.'s version of a Turkish Bazaar. I keep my studio here, too.
Angel City is in DTLA’s Art District, which is a cool neighborhood with a great beer culture. The place is in a huge warehouse / garage, so it never feels too crowded. I like the Angeleno IPA. Live events and taco trucks out front!
